As the topic suggests, the 2018 Forum will explore a selection of the United Nation's Sustainable Development Goals, with a particular focus on the energy sector and potential solutions to gender and economic inequality within the Latin American Region. Our aim is to expand the Forum to a two-day event of panel sessions, case studies, workshops, and networking receptions, complemented by an internship or start-up fair for students and professionals alike to showcase the many opportunities in the region. Our detailed provisional agenda can be found here.

If you want to know more about what it was like to attend previous editions of the Forum, I would highly encourage you to check this video and our previous editions section on the website. We hope to see you there in 2018 and do not hesitate to get in touch or follow us on social media if you have any questions, suggestions, want to stay updated or wish to participate!"

|The 2018 Announcement

"Welcome to the Edinburgh Latin American Forum.

Looking back on the six successful years through which the Forum has grown to a top-tier event, I could not be prouder to announce that the Forum's 7th and grandest edition yet, will be held at the University of Edinburgh from the 13th - 14th of February 2018. This year the Forum is shaped around the following topic-question: 'Cooperation: a Sustainable Strategy for reducing Inequality in Latin America?'
